Graham L. Vogtman, Class of 2021, is an IU Founders Scholar and a Dual Degree student pursuing a B.S. in Law and Public Policy and a B.A. in Philosophy. This is Graham’s second year on the Court and his first as Chief Justice. At IU, Graham was a member of the 2017–2018 Civic Leaders Center cohort, and is a SPEA Honors Student and a member of the Hutton Honors College.
Graham is the editor of SCOTUS Predictions, a law blog dedicated to providing the public with news concerning the United States Supreme Court. For the blog, Graham writes essays about the Court’s jurisprudence, compiles weekly briefings, and reviews the Court’s blockbuster decisions. Most significantly, Graham also selects one case on the Court’s docket each term for which he writes his own opinion before the Court releases theirs.
Graham intends to pursue law school and has a vested interest in studying administrative, civil rights, and American Constitutional law. Graham aims to clerk in-chambers, work as an attorney for the federal government, and one day serve as a federal judge.
Outside of his studies, Graham spends much of his free time golfing, a sport he has played since he was four years old. He is a staunch supporter of the New York Yankees and FC Bayern München, a Bavarian football club in Munich, Germany.
